For antique shopping, head off to the Pristine Antiques Warehouse on Fellsway Drive. This place is full of great treasure and maybe you can spot a piece of treasure at bargain prices. If you want to extend your fashion range, then head for Carriages Fine Clothiers on Old Hammond Highway, where you will find the latest fashion all under one roof. Also worth visiting is the Bocage Village Shopping Centre on Jefferson Highway, which has some fine shoe shops like Imeldas designer Shoe Shop. Do not forget to buy some presents for your loved ones at home and there is no better place to look for some great gifts than at the Gift Basket of L.A. on Florida Boulevard. A few good hobby shops are on Airline Highway. The Hobby Towne, and also Michaels Arts and Crafts will appease the creative side of you. They have some great airplanes and boats, etc. and it is well worth a look. Jo Anns Fabric and Craft shop is located on Cortana Pl., while the Hancock Fabrics shop is near the Airline Hwy. If one wants to enjoy a great shopping mall experience, then make your way to the Bon Marche Mall on Florida Boulevard. There is also the Cortana Mall at Cortana Place that has some great shops. For the bargain hunter, check out the Discount mall at Gonzales, L.A. and also the Tanger Factory Outlet Complex on Tanger Boulevard. Also at Albertons Food and Drug store on Airline Highway is where you will get all your necessities. |
